print a check

Load one sheet of check stock, click Print, choose the printer, done. The date is today.

Printer and logo setup

Logo on the vouchers. A text wordmark prints by default. To use the real logo, pick a PNG once, it is saved on this computer.

One-click printing. Chrome normally shows a print dialog. To skip it and send straight to the check printer:

  1. Windows Settings, Printers, set the check printer as the default. Turn off "Let Windows manage my default printer".
  2. Put Print-A-Check.bat in the same folder as this file and open the app with it. It launches Chrome in kiosk-print mode, which prints silently to the default printer.
  3. If you keep the dialog instead: choose the printer once, set Scale 100%, Margins None, and uncheck Headers and footers. Chrome remembers it.
